Robert Kreitler, founded Kreitler Financial in 1985 and played a pivotal role in guiding clients toward defining and achieving their lifetime goals. Although he is now retired, his influence and expertise continue to shape the firm’s commitment to financial planning excellence.

Robert is the author of Getting Started in Global Investing (Wiley, 2000) and led the development of the National Savings Rate Guidelines for Individuals (Journal of Financial Planning, April 2007) in collaboration with Ibbotson Associates. His thought leadership extended to numerous professional publications, including What To Do With Clients’ Surplus Wealth, published in Financial Advisor Magazine in 2021.

Now enjoying retirement, Bob remains passionate about education reform in New Haven, and continues his love of nature working as a volunteer with an invasive species removal program task force. He also stays active by playing competitive squash and hiking.
